This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

All employees at Honolulu newspaper agree to 10% wage cut
This newspaper must be in dire straights for the unions to even consider these concessions. Once they saw the books, they must have realized they had to get onboard, or move on down the highway. It will take a long time for these employees win back $5000 - $7000 in salaries from an ailing business. They better hope for a hula of a comeback. The rank and file vote is upcoming, time will tell how much they loves their jobs.
