This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.
I saw that headline and tried to pass it by, no luck today. The Religion of Peace? The reason I did not want to read this article, is because awhile back, there was a young maiden stoned to death, because she was raped, and no longer considered a virgin. I read that story, and I was, and am still, so horrified, that I lose objectivity. We prattle on about a little slight to a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay, and they stone a young girl to death!
Reporting the truth about these people was the job of the media, but somehow, it was more important to embarrass President Bush, than tell us about who plans 'Religiously’ every day, to kill us. Had the scrutiny of that stoning been splashed in the news for days like the Abu Ghraib prison story, this sort of murder might be stopped. Hypocrites!
I don't know what's more shocking -- the story itself, or the fact that it appears on so few newspaper web sites.
In this story there is this sentence: "... It would be a mistake to link an act of domestic violence to the couple’s religion ..."
Yes. Um hmm. I can see why. Wife beheading is so common in the United States, particularly among Methodists, Catholics and Baptists. It can't have anything to do with Islam.

You won't find this story in the Sacramento Bee or the San Francisco Chronicle. They are truly the enemy within...
