Readership update

Readership at this blog keeps growing beyond all expectations. The previous record for hits-per-month at McClatchy Watch has already been shattered -- yesterday I passed 87,000 hits in the month of February. With several days left in the month, I could easily end the month with well over 100,000 hits.

Thanks to all who visit and contribute by commenting and sending tips.

No, Thank you! Your blog and journalistic entrepreneurial spirit does you proud.

You provide a valuable service to American journalists, and a sounding board and safe place for MNI employees to get important information.

But more importantly, we get a front row seat to view the whiny MNI Marxists who drove MNI into powdery dusty rubble, blindly cry about unfairness, and how it’s not their fault. How typical!

Thanks for having us! The information from this blog is so important to all current and former MNI employees. It's the only place to get an idea of what's really going on at all the newspapers.

Do as I say, not as I do!
We all would be very surprised to know who visits this site! A friend of mine said he was warned not to have rumor mill blogs on his work screen, but he saw his editor was monitoring McClatchy Watch.

Bhahahahahahahaha

I have read many employee comments about not leaking meeting discussions. One poster thought it was almost a threat. Yeah right, scare us, like we are going to lose our jobs or something.

Gary Pruitt probably doesn't like you very much.

You won't lose any sleep over that, right? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
