This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Star-Telegram executive editor working on Sunday...
Jim Witt, fresh from a week's vacation, was seen in the building Sunday morning. Also in the building were people from HR. Hmmm. Bloody Monday for the S-T? ...

Week 3 Jim "Oops" Witt resignation watch. Heckuva job, Witty. Nobody trusts you or believes anything you say, not even the members of your Elvis fan club. Do the honorable thing, Jim. Resign.
yep, the trust is gone. too many people were told they were safe before only to be let go. no one has trusted anything management has said. and then the "oops" email followed with the excuse that they were discussing shared content. like salaries figure into that discussion...like I said. trust is gone.
