Blast from the past
A reader sent me the above chart -- a 1998 chart showing circulation numbers and web page views at McClatchy's newspapers views. This is 8 years before the ill-fated Knight Ridder purchase. (Click to enlarge.) . . .

You've just ruined the day for McClatchy Bots everywhere. Kind of flies in the face of their contention that they are simply victims of Global Recession. Driving away your customers because of your ideological goals is just bad business when they have the ability to leave at a better price.
