The only melt down they’ll survive, is all those yucky DNC teabags that burst in their mouths.

Other than that...Chapter 11 time Baby!

Simonton said he doesn't know how much more McClatchy can afford to cut without alienating readers and advertisers.

"At some point, you cut to a level where you are left with a product no one wants to buy," Simonton said.

We have arrived at that point.

Anon 7:15, why did you censor the New York Times figures?

THE NEW YORK TIMES -- 1,039,031 -- (-3.55%)

Doesn't fit your preconceived notions, huh?

Down and outer asks, "Did you censor the New York Times figures?"

Who believes anything the NYT puts out? Their sludge, their cooked circ figures, their polls, their anything? Not me, ignore them is the best advice I ever received.

It's not the NYT's own circulation figures that Anon 7:15 "forgot" to include. It's the Audit Bureau of Circulation's figures. Why did Anon 7:15 cut the NYT circulation out of the list?
