Largest producer of newsprint in US files for bankruptcy
We had quite a problem with this particular paper manufacturer, it always looked fuzzy, to much pulp dust that gummed up our Goss. We switched back to Alberta.
we only use the premium 80 from them on commercial runs and all other products use Southeast newsprint.we have a goss also-5051 model.weve had no problems with the sotck on our runs,but most of them are only 20k or less for the count.
I am the top poster, ex-MNI from Modesto Bee where I started my career; now work for a wonderful family owned paper in Idaho. For me it has been a sad fall to watch where I got my start so many years ago change so drastically.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Rolling Stone Magazine has severed its last tenuous link to San Francisco, the city where Jan Wenner co-founded the irreverent biweekly 42 years ago to cover the psychedelic rock scene and counterculture movement flourishing in the region.
"There wasn't enough business to justify having a full time office in San Francisco," Neschis said. "It's a challenging economic environment."
Indeed, the magazine's ad pages dropped nearly 17 percent in April compared to the same issue last year and are down nearly 22 percent year to date, according to the Mediaweek trade publication. Men's Journal is faring even worse, with ad pages down 39 percent over last year.
In recent months, Wenner Media has conducted several rounds of layoffs across its titles, which also include Us Weekly, according to media reports.

Both above posters sound like great guys who know their stuff, so this is not about you, but MNI.
MNI taint gonna have a paper problem in the very near future.
Maybe they can use all their unused paper to maek TEABAGS!
