McClatchy shares surge 30 percent... 6 million shares change hands
Buoyed by news the company is taking steps to stretch out its debt payment schedule, McClatchy (MNI) shares surged 30 percent Thursday, closing at 82 cents a share. An incredible 6 million shares of MNI changed hands Thursday. . . .
