Name that Party at the Sacramento Bee

An investigation by Bee reporter Jim Sanders found that two California politicians had awarded at least nine cushy no-bid jobs and contracts to friends and ex-colleagues.

You have to read down to the very last paragraph before the Bee tells you that Assembly Speaker Karen Bass is a Democrat. The Bee doesn't identify the party of the other politician, Darrell Steinberg, who handed out no-bid contracts to friends. (And if the Bee doesn't tell you which party Steinberg belongs to, it's a pretty safe bet he is a Democrat.)

"Our" Genius President: 'Happy Cuatro de Cinco!'

On the eve of the Mexican holiday, Obama on Monday had an event in the East Room of the White House with Mexico's Ambassador Arturo Sarukhan (sahr-oo-KHAN').

Obama joked that it was "Cinco de Cuatro," botching a play on the Spanish word for "four" when he meant to say "Cuatro de Mayo," or the Fourth of May. He tried again, but he still did not get it right.

Also, because if Bush had made such a blunder, it would have been the basis of a four-part MSNBC investigative series on the malapropism's deleterious effects on the Republican Party's attempts to woo Hispanic voters, Mexican-American relations, and our "place in the world."

Very typical of our biased media. Republican, means his party is listed in the title and every paragraph.

If it’s a rat, just like the article says, it’s either never mentioned or hidden.

Read any aticle about the latest felon detroit mayor proves to prove the media rat rule.

And these same teabagging, ball washers want us to pay up for this trash, and psychopathically tell us they aren’t biased?

Name That Party: Unpopular New Orleans Mayor Featured in NYT

Okay, boys and girls, it's time to play on America's favorite political game show.....NAME THAT PARTY!!!

Today's show features a highly unpopular mayor of New Orleans written up in the New York Times.

The first person who thinks he knows the political party affiliation of the mayor, please hit the buzzer.

The hidden clues might be hard to find in this article but they could lead the more carefully discerning among you to the correct answer:

NEW ORLEANS — As Mayor C. Ray Nagin approaches his final year in office, he faces scandal, an acrimonious stalemate with the City Council and the worst popularity ratings ever recorded for a mayor here.

Is Nagin A black Republican????

Nah, we all know that the media attacks any Republican/Conservative African American.

Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, Michael Steele, Condoleeza Rice...all viciously attacked on a daily basis.

So if this guy was a Republican, we would have all known it.

Black Newspapers Omitted from Stimulus Package, NNPA Publishers Push for Inclusion

RALEIGH, N.C. (NNPA) - Black publishers of the National Newspaper Publishing Association (NNPA) are concerned that there is nothing “designed” in President Barack Obama’s $787 billion stimulus package to do business with struggling Black newspapers in this flailing economy.

“While we publishers wholeheartedly applaud the president's efforts of making certain economically devastated communities of color are able to benefit from the billions of dollars within the stimulus package, it is unclear whether any of the money has been earmarked to otherwise help educate the very communities serviced by the Black media, as well as how they are to access the myriad of opportunities,” NNPA Board Chairman John B. Smith, Sr. wrote in an April 23 letter to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel; President Obama’s Special Advisor Valerie Jarrett, and U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), chair of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Put your tin hats back in the closet, guys. The Bee has probably mentioned Steinberg in at least 1,000 articles over the years and most of them note that he's a Democrat. If you think they're trying to conceal his party affiliation, you probably also believe climate change is a hoax and waterboarding isn't torture.

I don't live in California but I assume that 99.9% of the politicians in the state are Democrats.

How come whenever an article comes out about a President (I don't care who), it doesn't say "Republican President Bush" or "Democrat President Obama"? Could it be that anyone that actually might care already knows what party they are from?

Now, had the Sac Bee done a story on people NOT from their area, I can almost assure you that they would include the party affiliations.

It's shocking! Totally shocking! I am shocked and outraged! OUTRAGED! I hate the liberal media even more than I did three minutes ago! My shock and outrage cannot be outdone! I defy you to be more outraged than I am at this second!

O! My shattered innocence!

Wake up, America!

It's funny. I tried pointing this very issue out to a colleague of mine to show the biasness of the press with the New York governor story that McClatchy printed a while back (It may have been an AP story, I don't remember). Be it as it may, you had to read really deep into the text to find out just what party the governor was. So did the fella I work with care? No. All he did was suddenly start venting about the misdeeds of the evil BooosHitler (who, I might add, wasn't even mentioned in the piece). But it was like I had turned on some sort of hidden light switch somewhere. Here, I had hoped I could make him aware of the techniques used by journalists to obscure information they don't really want you to know. I had hoped he would have been more open minded to see the inequity of the whole picture. But there are none so blind as those who WILL NOT see. And he was definitely happy in his ignorance.

Steinberg is one the most liberal (Socialist) nutjobs in California. The Sac Bee worships the idiot.
BTW, many conservatives are no longer Republicans - they're Independants. The Republican party is leaderless, clueless and has no electable candidates to challenge the Dems. Until the Repubs wake up and appeal to more voters, they're doomed.
