The unions are out in full force to pass the measures for teachers and firefighters. The say it won't hurt the politicians, just the children and home safety. No mention as how to pay their inflated salaries in a bankrupted state. How sorry can you feel for these people that keep voting in liberals that are wreaking a once great state?

The firefighters union is running non-stop ads on TV.

But voters are going to ignore the unions (and the newspaper editorials) and vote NO on all the measures, with the possible exception of the one cutting legislator's pay.

CA is losing population, but the bad news is, these people leave Ca after their liberal voting ruined the state, then these fools migrate to another state, and begin to ruin it. Just ask the people in Oregon why their state is going broke now. Saying you are from CA is a conversation killer in many states these days.

Speaking of liberals ruining Oregon, when I was there, many a long time resident told me the new resident liberals voted in a state run healthcare system, but found the state couldn’t afford long term care. So along came the assisted suicide plan. Then the propaganda about patients offing themselves with dignity, really meaning cheaply. I did a bit of research, and there are hundreds of complaints like the one following.

“Oregon State Health Care Plan Won't Treat Woman's Cancer But Will Pay For Her Suicide.”

I always have used the Sac Bee recommendations as a guide (for the most part) on what NOT to vote for. Kind of convenient.

5:39 -- heh.

I'm voting against all the Bee's recommendations (except 1B -- I'm voting NO which is the Bee's recommendation).

-California Losing Population-
"They said, "Go west," but many Californians are going north and east. [For the 4th year in a row, more residents left the Golden State than moved here from other states,] according to the California Dept. of Finance."

The number of people leaving
CA is not only the problem of losing population, but businesses are leaving as well. That is part of the taxing panic.

"California is another state where people moving away outstripped the number moving in from another state during the year ending on July 1, 2008. California lost a net total of 144,000 people during that period — more than any other state, according to census estimates. That is about equal to the population of Syracuse, N.Y."
