I've heard reports of several newspapers slashing custodial services, lawn maintenance, and security. The cutbacks are taking a toll.The above photos show the "employee courtyard" at a McClatchy newspaper, where employees used to have lunch or a smoke. You can see it's dilapidated and unusable.
Can you guess which newspaper? I'll have more photos later today. (Thanks to the anonymous tipster who sent the pics to me.)

It's my guess that the toppled tables belong to the Charlotte Observer. They've had dilapidated, faded, tattered flags hanging on their flagpoles for as long as I can remember.

This is a stupid post and so indicative of the quality of what is being put our recently.
The garbage outside our office piles up from time to time because we don't own the building.

I doubt its American flags on the flagpoles. More like the Star and Sickle or the United Nations flags for the Far Left loonies.
