This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Market cap worries at McClatchy
A reader points out what has been happening to McClatchy's market cap:
"McClatchy is getting ever closer to the $50 million market cap."
The suits in the corporate office have got to be worried -- McClatchy's market cap has shrunk to$55 million -- and headed downward toward non-compliance levels again. . . .

Would you stop posting this non-sense. Who the f cares about the market cap. They have until December 2010 to get it right.
They need to worry about the stock price above $1 (which will solve the other problem) by December 2009.
We have heard from this site for 2 years how McClatchy is going under. They root and root for that to happen but sorry folks McClatchy is still here. Bitter & Bitter can still hope that will happen but in the mean time maybe they should look for a job.
I don't have a choice. It is one of the "posts". It would be different if it was just a headline, but when it has 250+ pixels of dedication to it, it then gets in the way of reading the other useless crap posted.
I guess if it is a slow news day might as well repost information (just like the Star reposting that story) huh?
"...the revenue is about to rebound and everyone will be reading newspapers again." *** When is your next appointment with your shrink? You better tell her/him/it that you are obsessing again, and have lost contact with the real world. A straightjacket might be in order if your disorder persists.
The liberal losers that come on this blog are so amusing. I need a good laugh from them to remind me what whack-os they are. It takes their absurd comments to remind me who is responsible for the serious trouble Barry is bringing to the USA.
So, moonbats are obsessed with McClatchy Watch? I am guessing they agree with the comments here, and their buyers remorse for voting for a phony teleprompter reader is appalling them. There are plenty of sites for them to commiserate with like minds, but they come here. It is the truth that brings them, but their conscious is killing them, sad lot that they are.
... the serious trouble Barry is bringing to the USA.

Wow, I really call it serious trouble that the economy is stabilizing, consumer confidence is on the rise, and the stock market is on the uptick. And that temples of greed like GM are being forced to change. And that the U.S. is regaining stature in the world community by having a president who can actually pronounce the word "nuclear."

You've been obsessed with this site for 2 years?
How much longer do you expect your obsession to last?

Of course you have a choice.
Jeez, you sound like a whiny baby who needs his diaper changed.
Damn, I wish I had invented the blog that was completely addictive to moonbats and caused them fits of temper tantrums.
Good Job MW!
12:20 I totally agree with you, the revenue is about to rebound and everyone will be reading newspapers again. Thank you.
