Philly Newspapers' Parent Company Follows It Into Bankruptcy Court Mark Fitzgerald
The group of businesspeople who paid $562 million to return The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News to local ownership in 2006, only to file for bankruptcy protection earlier this year, have now filed for Chapter 11 protection themselves.
Campbell Brown's 8pmET CNN program had just 69,000 viewers in the A25-54 demo Friday night - the program's lowest ever. In fact, it was the lowest demo viewership for CNN at 8pmET since Christmas Day 2007.

Yeah, the Bee Guild site is basically useless. It's become a no-traffic, job-posting site. They had been censoring any criticism toward the guild so maybe people stopped posting. Or, they've been neutered by Sac Bee management.
Obooma and Liberal Fascism? A clever lead to the ABC/White House Propaganda station. The SACBEE opinion page informed us today that 4th grade stick figure cartoon drawer "Rex Babin is taking the day off". Glad we were informed as no one missed his elementary stick drawing and daily Conservative hit piece. (Called balance at SACBEE.)So they brought in a cut and paste political cartoon from Newsday. It was a hit on Dick Cheney. I know their teletype printer is broken, but can someone please inform them that Dick Cheney is no longer in office.
So all is well in never never land. Is was close....but they didn't miss a beat. Beware.....the fat lady is rehearsing in the corridor. She is singing something about...."turn out the lights.... the party ...".

"This is not what I voted for," Maher said. “I don’t want my president to be a TV star.” Maher criticized Obama's constant television coverage ("I get it: you love being on TV") and said the president should focus on fixing the nation's problems instead.
