CareerBuilder's competition

A reader pointed me to the new job search web site that is competing with CareerBuilder (14% McClatchy-owned) and Monster.com. Click here to see it.

Should have sold that CareerBuilder stake while they were making money on it. Now that is going to be toast too. Buh-Bye CareerBuilder!

The new site is complete junk. Career Builder will continue to be the industry leader. Keep whining about anything related to McClatchy. We're doing fine without you.

A) Career Builder is not the industry leader, Monster is.

B) 7-11, ADP, AT&T, AllState, Hewitt, Hyatt, Office Depot, Sears Holdings, and Starbucks with a free service VS McClatchy/CareerBuilder's fee based service and you're picking CareerBuilder?

You're even dumber than you portray.

Ever notice how the McClatchy defenders are almost always liberals?

Nope no institutional bias there. Nope. Not a bit. Just a wonderful diverse group of folks proving, once again, that it is possible to eat, sleep and breathe with your head up your ass.

They do tend to defy any measurable degree of logic or common sense. But then consider the groups who they encompass and the outcome is assured.

A) Yes CareerBuilder is the industry leader (106m visits vs 57m in the first 6 months of this year)

CB - 16 jobs
Monster - 2 jobs

B) Wow...entry level hourly minimum wage jobs!

Yet again please check your facts before you spout off about something you do not know about.

Careerbuilder BLOWS. Post your resume on there and you will be greeted with non stop spam in your inbox, heavy on the Nigerian scams.

Plus, just try to find a job posting on there, amid all the obvious work-at-home scams. It's a waste of time.
