This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

McClatchy stock approaching an all-time low
McClatchy (MNI) shares closed at 40 cents a share Wednesday -- just 5 cents higher than MNI's all-time low of 35 cents per share. Is this the week McClatchy will set its new low? . . .

Touching an all time low is significant from a drama standpoint.
What is more significant is that today was...THE ALL TIME LOWEST CLOSING PRICE EVAH!
How about another song suggestion...HMM...Burn Baby Burn or Bye Bye American Pie or Slow Dancing in a Burning Room - John Mayer or Burning Memories - Katy Moffatt orSt. Agnes and the Burning Train - Sting (but change it to St. Gary) or ...
..The market is just trying to match the share price with the real value of the newspaper...so todays low is tomorrows wistful high, as the value of the newspaper is null.
