Publisher of McClatchy newspaper in Mississippi to leave
Ricky Mathews, publisher of the Sun Herald newspaper, will leave the newspaper in August. Matthews announced Tuesday he will take a job outside McClatchy, but hasn't revealed any details. . . .

He probably saw the writing on the wall and didn't want to be a part of the next round of layoffs. They're coming.
With negative growth there are only two ways to squeak out a profit. Cut expenses and raise prices.
Smart man.
