..So thin, it only has one side. At a buck, it's overpriced $1.50 an ithue. No matter how long you leave it in the canaries cage, it will always have more crap on the inside than the outside.

Davy D. beat me to it. Since it's about the size of two postage stamps, I can see their logic behind their pricing policy

...Gee's, they've lost about a BILLION dollars since Hearst bought the company...it's pretty clear that logic plays no part in their business model. You can find more news in the real estate give-away papers. Better photography, too.
..If the Cronicle charged what it's worth they'd give it away. If they charged what it cost, try carrying $5 in quarters so you can get cheated out of a newspaper when the box won't open or return change. And even though you lost five bucks, you really are ahead because you didn't read their lousy paper.

Content wise, it’s an anorexic in a fur cost.

Their daily is horribly thin, as is their Sunday paper, stripping out all the ads and coupons.

I don't know why they raised the price...they outsourced the printing to a Canadian company and it is printed in Fremont...another union going down the drain...
