Story of the day

Writing an article about phone etiquette, a newspaper reporter inadvertently discloses an obsession with Obama. Click here for the story.

Update: on reflection, the word "obsession" is too harsh. I should have said the reporter seems "love-struck."

Love-struck "objective" lib reporter? No longer an oxymoron, but accepted business practice?

Well, not by me. Don't count on me spending money on lib biased crap.

But I do relish their stock at .40 cents. (but I can wait for zero, pun intended)

Really a stretch, MW. And I suspect that you know it's a stretch. Come on, you can do a lot better than this.

Yep its a little stretch. But can you IMAGINE a MSM reporter doing the same thing for Bush? Impossible! Unthinkable!
Your sort of supercilious chiding is only effective if there are not such obvious counterfactuals at hand.

Oh, come on. Feature writers and columnists have always done fawning pieces about the excitement of being in the presence of a president, or in the White House, or at historical events. Your bias is influencing your selective memory.

Oh really? Please site your examples previous to the Messiah's Coronation and after the White House Rapist.

LIBS ONLY GET A DOLLAR?

Business Week sale may fetch only $1

McGraw-Hill could reap just $1 from a sale of Business Week, according to people familiar with the 80-year-old financial magazine’s losses.

The publisher has appointed Evercore, the boutique investment bank, to sell the business after concluding it was non-core, two people familiar with the decision said.

The difference is that 7:10 is a respected member of this community and has demonstrated that what he/she does on here is for the benefit of the community.

Our trolls, on the other hand, are here to damage our community and make a nuisance of themselves. They are undeserving of our respect or cooperation in any way, shape, or form until they demonstrate otherwise.

I know this is a bullshit answer, but its the same kind of shuck and jive, hoop jumping nonsense we've gotten from "journalists" forever and a day.

You got that right!
