Requirements:
Your proven success as a sales professional is what we are looking for! If you want the "free publicity" that you get from posting help wanted ads while your company is in the midst of firing, cutting pay and eliminating all benefits....then by all means, enjoy it!
More job postings than layoffs yet the little miserable people still find something to whine about.

Look dummy. If you have no problem with being a persistent liar, at least be a good one.
Please show me credible information detailing layoffs. Not the ususal BS, "We here there's pending layoffs".

The job qualifications are fine except they should point out that the successful candidate should have good math skills and be good at working with negative numbers and be familiar with imaginary numbers.

8:52 AM - Yeah, single job postings here and there vs. larger layoffs.
The point could be made that the new job listings are in areas that actually make revenue (or at least in areas that *might* make revenue). To be fair, that would fit in the "we're reinventing" theme.
Layoffs are involuntary reductions in the employee base to prop up earnings when ad revenues are collapsing. (at least that's what the editors told us)
Job postings are to replace some of the employees who left IN ADDITION to the ones we laid off.
Notice that a lot of the postings are for sales people.
It's hard to meet your numbers when you are selling a poorer and poorer product in an environment in which no one is buying.
Would you want to be a sales rep at an MNI property right now?
The poster who compares postings ( perhaps fake) with editor announced layoffs is a adolescent with a room temperature IQ. Perhaps a union goon waiting on the call to go beat up some voters who are getting out of line on health care.
Spaces is very profitable with a national client base.
We've been through this before.
