This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Props for KC Star air bag story
John Landsberg has high praise for a KC Star series about used car dealers and car rental agencies advertising air bags that don't exist. . . .
I wonder if it is really true that they turned down the Star's solicited advertising campaign before they ran the story?
Either way, one sleezeball company who offers something they don't really have ratting out another company selling something they don't really have is hardly impressive, but it's a start.
Too bad the Star has no interest in a new start, but that would require an apology for their past.

The Star needs more of this and far fewer opinion columns. This shouldn't be a mystery. You're a newspaper, publish news not BS.
