Here's a tip for media planning to launch a new feature on their web sites

Good advice from Mark Potts:

Tip for media sites: If you start a new feature, be sure to lock up the URL for it before you launch it.

The geniuses at the Washington Post announced a new feature, World Wide Wilbon, to showcase a top talent, Michael Wilbon. But they hadn't secured the URL before the announcement -- Potts did some research and found somebody else grabbed www.worldwidewilbon.com about the time the feature was launched on the Post site this week. Ooops!
