The Democrats in congress are trying to use Joe Wilson's "You lie!" outburst as a way to make political hay, and McClatchy is doing everything it can to help the Dems out.

It's absurd to claim somebody is racist for saying "You lie" to Barack Obama.
To actually believe and promote a leftist ideology pretty much requires a penchant for the absurd to begin with.
The Lame Stream Media misreads the people once again. Obama did lie about illegal aliens receiving health care, and that is a part of the story that registers with the average citizen. The Democrats rushed to cover-up another Obama lie, but the after-the-fact addition wasn’t all that honest. Hypocrites all!
President Obama may come to regret calling Kayne West a "jackass. Tsk, tsk, Barry, roll out the beer keg again.
Joe Wilson was right. The Democrats don't want to admit that.
Anything negative said about Obama now makes you a racist. Well, he is a fraud, a phoney, he is unqualified to be President, his speeches are never ending and sounds like they are given while riding a roller coaster, he has surrounded himself with the sleeze of the country and he has never had a real job in his life. If that makes me a racist....then you work out and get your jollies. I don't care anymore.
Joe Wilson was the hero at the anti-Obama rally in Washington last weekend where he was even seen signing an autograph. The rally featured signs such as, “The Zoo has an African and the White House has a Lyin’ African;” “Bury Obamacare with Kennedy;” “We came unarmed (this time)” and “ ‘Cap’ Congress and ‘Trade’ Obama back to Kenya!”
Sounds like they're really upset that he's from Chicago
