McClatchy newspaper in Washington looking for a district sales manager -- $27,000 to $32,000 a year

Do you have management experience? Do you love a challenge?

District managers are responsible for home delivery and sales within assigned territories. Duties include recruiting and contracting with newspaper carriers and ensuring customer satisfaction and excellent service within their districts.

Good communication skills and basic math/bookkeeping abilities necessary, as well as an excellent driving record. Must be available to work early morning hours, weekends and some holidays. Applicants should furnish a current copy of their 3-year driving record at time of application.

Requirements:

A high school diploma is required. A college degree is preferred or equivalent business experience. Previous home delivery and/or management experience is desirable.


Base pay is $27,000 to $32,000 a year.
