The Centre Daily Times,in State College, PA, owned by The McClatchy Company (circulation 24,274 daily, 31,393 Sunday) seeks a Circulation Director to oversee all circulation and production operations, personnel, and our sales and marketing strategies. The Circulation Director is also a member of the paper’s Operating Committee with strategic planning, budgeting and revenue responsibilities for circulation and production. We are looking for an experienced leader whose primary responsibility will be to develop strategies to help us grow our circulation numbers and increase penetration while ensuring we provide outstanding customer service to our subscribers. Requirements:
The preferred candidate must have a college degree or similar work experience, three to five years management experience and strong analytical skills. Newspaper circulation experience is required, preferably in operations.
