Time for "Name that Party" at McClatchy.
Last night the DC bureau posted an article with this exciting headline: South Florida politicians arrested in political corruption probe -- but nowhere is the party affiliation of the politicians mentioned.
Which usually is rock-solid proof the scoundrels are Dems. If they were Republicans the party would be mentioned up front. (When news breaks about a Republican involved in a scandal, sometimes the party affiliation is the first word in the story. Literally.)
The Miami Herald has this headline: Crist suspends two Broward County politicians arrested in US corruption probe; former official also charged. Again, no mention of the political party.
I went outside McClatchy and found out the info: Broward County commissioner Josephus Eggelletion is a Democrat. Readers in the comments section are reporting the other two arrested, a school board member and a former city commissioner, are also Democrats.

It's sad when you've run your product so far into the ground that people know more about what you are reporting by what you don't say, than what you do.
It's true though. If the party affiliation isn't mentioned, it is always a democrat.
The fringe media is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the DNC. Everyone knows that by now. Only the journalists that were so blatantly used, and now thrown away, are still in shock. Watching these duped scribblers piss and moan is sad, but they will be leftist to the bitter end. I don’t think they can be reprogrammed.
One could hope their new professions places them away from any means to lie to the people for the sake of politicians that hate the USA and her citizens.
MOO
I’ve never understood how McClatchy types can talk about journalism, professionalism and integrity in the same sentence, and yet constantly and blatantly do idiotic stuff like this and then expect you to buy their biased paper?
It is difficult to feel sorry for so-called newspaper people as they lose their jobs. The editors and publishers of McClatchy had to actually discuss these stories and decide to shield the Democrats, and try to destroy the Republicans. Covering for John Edwards was perhaps the most corrupt shield ever devised by the liberal fringe media. I wish someone would compare the media coverage of the NY, NJ, IL, and SC governors’ scandals.

I know what you mean. I sit here and tell myself, "Oh what a shame." Then I look down and my body is doing the happy dance to the tune..... Another One Bites the Dust.
Another One Bites The Dust
Another on bites the dust...
What some of you seem to forget is that the majority of those that have lost their jobs are not left wing reporters. The blue collar front line folks that did the heavy work for the company are the ones paying for the arrogance of MNI leadership.
What some of you seem to forget is that the majority of those that have lost their jobs are not left wing reporters.
Actually they are acutely aware of that fact. They are also aware that many of those in production who are losing their jobs now are the very same people who got them at the expense of their predecessors when management busted the unions.
That seems to be something that you forget, but I hope you can see how hard it is for them to be sympathetic knowing that a portion of your ranks are in fact, SCABS.
Damn, there has been at least 3 of them convicted in St Louis on similar charges in the past couple of weeks too!
Any McClatchy papers reporting it at all?
