Obama's 9-11 Truther nutcase resigns, blames "vicious smear campaign" against him

Nutcase Van Jones has resigned as Green Jobs Czar in the Obama Administration. Classy to the end, he claims a vicious smear campaign was mounted against him.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide..."

Publishing your own words and speeches is a "vicious smear campaign"?

Who's betting his next move is a Commie Rap album with Fidel and the Thugs?

So even when the truth smacks him the face, he has to distort and lie and BLAME it on the evil republicans.

I am surprised he didn’t say it was Bushes fault he had to resign....Liberals never stop amazing me, they will hold others accountable for every action but somehow they are not to be held to that same standard.

THANK YOU McClatchy Watch for the forum, Thanks GLEN BECK, and
FU(( YOU McCLCATCHY!!!!

Though a statement like that from Marxist redical Van Jones, pretending to throw himself on his sword was expected, funny that he does it in the middle of the night on a long weekend.

So then, next is Jarrett and Dear leader for failing to vet a commie like Jones, and more MSM stories on Jones? CRICKETS

Over at the commie sites, their versions of "Goebells" is telling the sheep that it's Jones' “a-hole” comment about Republicans that got him fired.

Anonymous said...

The commies also blame Glenn Beck for “McCarthyism”.

Anonymous said...

Watch McClatchy spin this as the first electronic lynching of the Obama Administration.

Anonymous said...

"They do not reflect the experience I have had since joining the administration," Jones said in the statement.

The racist sounds just like Michelle, who is only NOW, "Proud of America."

Anonymous said...

Who vetted Van Jones for his Czardom? Karl Marx? Groucho Marx? Barack Fitzgerald Obama? Jeremiah Wright? Jeremiah Rong?

Craig said...

Does this bother you at all? Not even a little bit? The reason he got fired is that an organization he founded, The Color of Change, called out Glen Beck and cost him some advertisers. So you call him names until he gets fed up and leaves. Could this be anymore juvenile? Doesn't it smack of McCarthyism? Is this really the way you want to be?

OBAMA DIDN'T FIRE JONES.

When all is said and done, it is Obama who made the initial choice, which was not to renounce his support for Jones.

But notice that Dear Leader has NOT expressed even faux horror at Jones' anti-Americanism.

That speaks volumes about Obama. (but is America listening?)

How about a detailed accounting of how much Van Jones' resignation cost the government?

How much it cost the taxpayer for this commie to resign, ala Palin?

I want to know how much was spent on letterhead, envelopes, official portraits, rubber stamps, 3-ring binders, promotional pens, engraved signs, the who kaboodle, just like Palin's accounting.

SALON Nov. 20, 2008--Sexiest Man Living

Van Jones, activist, do-gooder who fights for civil rights and the environment -- and looks like he wandered straight off a Ralph Lauren shoot.

If we had no idea who Van Jones was and he walked into the room, our hearts would still begin to flutter.

TIME FOR JONES CHEERLEADER VALERIE JARRETT TO EXIT

The Obama gang’s consiegliere, Valerie Jarrett, was caught in tape saying they had been “observing” Jones (cough) career as far back as Oakland (when Jones declared himself a Communist).

The WH decided they needed his (gag) expertise. The Jarrett tape has been aired serveral times on Fox cable news.

Obama's green jobs czar Van Jones quits under fire (LA Times ...Van Jones, the onetime Marxist (LA Times)

Van Jones, the ONETIME MARXIST (WTF) whose controversial statements about Republicans and 9/11 have made him a distracting lightning rod as Barack Obama's environmental czar in recent days, resigned tonight.

For the LA Times, being a lifelong Marxist counts as onetime?

I guess that’s how the MSM and McClacthy counts?

Since Jones quit and admits being a communist, does this mean Glen Beck was right and the sponsors were wrong?

On Beck's show he never called him a Marxist...he called him a communist.

NY Times FINALLY has it

White House Adviser on ‘Green Jobs’ Resigns

Article Tools Sponsored By
By SARAH WHEATON
Published: September 6, 2009

In a victory for Republicans and the Obama administration’s conservative critics, Van Jones resigned as the White House’s environmental jobs “czar” on Saturday.

Controversy over Mr. Jones’s past comments and affiliations has slowly escalated over several weeks, erupting on Friday with calls for his resignation.

Appointed as a special adviser for “green jobs” by President Obama, Mr. Jones did not go through the traditional vetting process for administration officials who must be confirmed by the Senate.

So it was not until recently that some of Mr. Jones’s past actions received broad airing, including his derogatory statements about Republicans in February and his signature on a 2004 letter suggesting that former President George W. Bush might have knowingly allowed the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks to occur in order to use them as a “pre-text to war.”

Anonymous said...

So the cowards at the white house are making major, "throw 'em under the bus" announcements in the wee small hours, when all of their constituents are all wee-weed out?

Anonymous said...

Why no mention of communist ties with Van Jones?

That’s our job now.

The MSM are communists themselves. Even those who don’t consciously think so, are incapable of rational thought, about the topic. They’re brainwashed (useful idiots) or they’re LIARS.

The Van Jones (non) feeding frenzy [NBC, ABC, CBS - Van Jones Who?]
Washington Examiner ^ | 9-4-09 | Byron York

From a Nexis search a few moments ago[9-5-09]:

Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the New York Times: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy in the Washington Post: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on NBC Nightly News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on ABC World News: 0.
Total words about the Van Jones controversy on CBS Evening News: 0.

If you were to receive all your news from any one of these outlets, or even all of them together, and you heard about some sort of controversy involving President Obama's Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, your response would be, "Huh?"

If you heard that that adviser, Van Jones, had apologized for a number of remarks and positions in the recent past, your response would be, "What?"

And if you were in the Obama White House monitoring the Jones situation, you would be hoping that the news organizations listed above continue to hold the line -- otherwise, Jones, who is quite well thought of in Obama circles, would be history.

The problems with this administration is that either:

a) nobody bothered to investigate this guy - he was someone's buddy (perhaps the President's) and he was on board with the agenda, and that's all that mattered, or

b) they did investigate him and no one saw any problem with any of these things.

I'd like to hear someone ask Dear Leader:

"So who stood up in a meeting and said 'this guy is a Communist, but that's O.K.'?"

Van Jones needs to appear on the Glenn Beck Show to clear this matter up once and for all.

Grist's David Roberts Defends Van Jones, Ward Churchill of the Greens
(American spectator)

The America-hating communist 9/11 "truther" Van Jones has an ally in his fellow Huffington Post writer David Roberts.

Roberts of Grist, a misanthropic far-left environmentalist webzine bankrolled by many of the same funders who have backed Van Jones's nonprofit ventures, is currently in contention to be the most shameless liar of the left-o-sphere.

We already know that Jones believes George W. Bush hates black people. Jones founded Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM) and the Ella Baker Center both of which participated in a vigil the day after Sept. 11, 2001, "mourning the victims of U.S. imperialism around the world."

Jones sounded like Ward Churchill when he released a statement Sept. 12, 2001, mourning only "the deaths of innocent working class people" and "those who would surely lose their lives in subsequent U.S. attacks overseas." It seems anyone who died in the terrorist attacks who wasn't working class deserved to die, according to Jones's own words.

VIDEO: Keith Olbermann calls Glenn Beck an 'Uneducated, Imperceptive, Panicky Wack Job' (Examiner.com)

Just in case you missed this on TV -- or all over the Internet -- here's the video of 'Countdown' host Keith Olbermann blasting his enemy of the week, Fox News conspiracy theorist Glenn Beck.

The rant started with Olbermann saying:

"The danger of today's version of the mythical homespun aw-shucks-TV-totalitarian-Lonesome-Rhodes Glenn Beck is summed up by remarks today in which he claims that a revolution has begun in this country — a 'stealing of America in the guise of an election' — and his repeated insistence that the President is a Marxist.

The comfort of today's mythical homespun aw-shucks-TV-totalitarian-Lonesome-Rhodes Glenn Beck is that everyday he gives away the essential truth that he is an idiot."

Jones Resigns Over What?
By Joshua Sharf (Newsbusters)

Powerline nicely summarizes the problems with (now former) Obama Administration official Van Jones:

Who do they have in the White House?

A self-proclaimed Communist.

A vulgar Marxist twice over.

A supporter of cold-blooded cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal.

A 9/11 Truther.

A racist hater, whose hatred extends to the United States.

And insofar as his current job is concerned, we have a man who sees the "green jobs" con as a tool for overthrowing capitalism.

We have, in short, the complete left-wing nightmare package.

Van Jones Resigns PATTERICO

It is now, by my clock, 11:25 pm on Saturday. What better time to release this?

WASHINGTON — Obama aide Van Jones resigns as environmental adviser amid controversy over past statements.

The time stamp says “15 minutes ago”, but has for a little while. I suspect it was a “stroke of midnight” release.

I mean, there’s no way they are trying to bury this story… No way at all…

The question remains, however: How the holy monkey-fu(k did this guy pass the vetting process?

Is the White House that stupid?

Or could it be that they didn’t find anything wrong with his words because they agree with them – after all, would crazy talk sound crazy if you agree with it?

I mean, I’m sure to other truthers a phrase like “the first time fire ever melted steel” sounds perfectly rational, you know what I mean?

Edit – Looks like it hit the wires at about 12:10am Eastern.

Yeah, there’s no way people at the White House were trying to bury this…

Anonymous said...

And don’t forget everyone...Friday the White House was closed-lipped about Jones, saying only that

Jones would remain as part of Obama’s administration.

“On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me,” Jones said in his resignation statement. “They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.”

WHAT LIES?

Anonymous said...

And that is why the best response to their lies and distortions is for me to resign at 12:10 am on Saturday during a holiday weekend?

I will now boldly and forcefully meet their distortions by disappearing from public life.

Anonymous said...

“They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.”

Apparently, Mr. Van Jones is too weak and overcome by the haters that he is unable to refute the lies with the truth.

How easy it would be to dismantle those lies and distortions if one actually had the truth on their side.

Look at Obama's inner circle throughout his life...and the picture is clear.

Van Jones = Frank Davis = Bill Ayers = Bernardine Dohrn = Jeremiah Wright = Tony Rezko = Rashid Khalidi = Raila Ordinga = Carol Browner = Rahm Emanuel = Henry Gates = John Holdren = Rosa Brooks = Eric Holder = Ezekiel Emanuel = BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

This is who the man is. A cauldron of corruption, greed, marxism and communism...with disturbing ties to Islam.

“NAACP Supports Van Jones, Calls Beck a 'Right Wing Extremist'“
==
More vote your color! When will the true racists be taken to task? The people of the USA were taken in by a fawning media to elect Obama, but witnessing the NAACP stand up for a racist pig is just too much. Obama is setting back race relations, not bring people together. The NAACP were privy to the same videos and information that we saw, and they chose to take the dishonest route. They are passé, and outright racists, IMHO.

Anonymous said...

This one shows the total lack of importance of the mainstream media. Bloggers, cable news and talk radio pulled this one off. It's a new age in media.

Anonymous said...

The NAACP lost all credibility years ago. Maybe it once had some useful purpose but now it's merely a platform for playing the race card and making ridiculous statements 99 percent of the population laughs off.

9/11 Truther Van Jones Was Arianna Huffington’s Political Director

CanadaFreePress ^ - Matthew Vadum
Arianna Huffington’s liberal gossip site the Huffington Post has been vigorously defending green jobs czar and 9/11 “truther” Van Jones. It turns out that Jones was Huffington’s grassroots political director when she ran for governor in the 2003 recall election. In fact, Jones, a self-described “communist,” thought Huffington was so wonderful he was part of the effort to draft her to run for office.

White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs Responds to Commie-Truther Green Czar's Resignation, ABC's "This Week" Spends ONE WHOLE MINUTE On the Van Jones Resignation--
(GatewayPundit)

In an impressive display of state-run journalism at its best, White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs was even asked a question about Van Jones' resignation on ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos:

From the video: Just hours after Van Jones resigned amid a "vicious smear campaign" as President Obama's green jobs czar, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, who was just scheduled to appear on "This Week," said that:

"what Van Jones decided was that the agenda of this President was bigger than any one individual.

"He was going to get in the way of the President, and ultimately this country, moving forward on something as important as creating jobs in a clean energy economy."

Gibbs also said that Obama does not endorse Jones' previous controversial comments.

Could you imagine if something like this would happen to a Republican administration?

Do you think they'd spend more than a minute discussing the controversy?

Facts? Do tell. I'd love to be enlightened as to what mitigating facts you might have. I have read the facts, I've read his quotes but I can't for the life of me find a single, "fact" that mitigates his actions or the media's attempt to cover up his actions.

Anonymous said...

Well somebody very high up must have thought Mr. Jones deserved to go. I'm sure they looked at all the facts, too.

Anonymous said...

The big problem is that Obama and many on his staff and cabinet agree with Jones.

Fine... if they agree, then make the case. Why is it that liberals only succeed when they hide the fact that they are liberals.

Anonymous said...

Because everyone was tipped off in....

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened.”

Hence, they have to change their name on a regular basis as people catch on to what they are.
