This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Reid blocks ACORN probe
An editorial in the Las Vegas Review Journal blisters Harry Reid. Click here to see it. (Hat tip: comments) . . .
Reid's home state is bloated with ACORN and SEIU drones and he needs them to get the vote out. He's in big trouble in his home state, which was a magnet for illegals and low-income workers when Vegas overbuilt its housing industry and the casinos were hiring all kinds of illegals to make beds and work in the kitchens. The state stinks to high heaven and Reid is one of the reasons. Nevada voters need to take out the garbage.
Grassley: ACORN Uses Tax-Exempt Entities to Funnel Money to Itself
HumanEvents.com - Connie Hair
ACORN is using a tangled web of tax-exempt organizations to funnel tax money to itself according to a detailed review released last night by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee. Some or all of them may be nothing more than shell companies used to pass money from the government directly through to ACORN and its affiliates. “This analysis regarding the vast number of charitable organizations that ACORN set up to funnel money to itself raises questions about whether ACORN used the entities to advance the charitable mission of helping poor people get housing..
The reeking stench of corruption finally gets to Barney Frank, how droll. = Frank Backs Away from ACORN
The Politico | Don Irvine
Rep. Barney Frank who had steadfastly supported ACORN through all its recent troubles has now reversed course and is calling for an investigation of the groups finances. From the Politico In a stunning turnaround, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is distancing himself from ACORN, blasting their response to a string of recent scandals -- and contradicting a staffer who said the congressman would have voted against a GOP-sponsored bill banning the group from federal funding.
When a liberal organization loses Barney Frank, it's in REAL trouble. Of course, this isn't much of a story, just ask the mainstream media. They are such a complete clown show.

The corruption expands. This may be enough to put Reid's opponent over the top. Hopefully, one less crook in Congress.
Nevadans tired of Harry Reid have a chance to elect this guy next year.

I don't even want to have a visual image of Barney Frank doing a stunning turnaround.
Oh, damn! Already there. I am going to have to visualize a dozen hog butcherings just to get that image out of my mind.
