Three McClatchy newspapers make list of top newspaper sites for August

The Miami Herald, The News & Observer, and The Kansas City Star were among the top 30 sites in unique visits during August, according to a report from Neilsen Online.

Here are the stats for the McClatchy papers making the list:

  • MiamiHerald.com: 2,502,000 uniques, an increase of 89% from a year ago
  • The News & Observer: 1,892,000 uniques, an increase of 110% from a year ago
  • KansasCity.com: 1,732,000 uniques, a decrease of 1% from a year ago

The Miami Herald was #17 on the list; The News & Observer was #27, and The Kansas City Star was #30.

I always thought he was a train wreck. Maybe he is.

Chris is actually a brilliant guy. That he hasn't been drug down by the McClatchy Interactive train wreck is a credit to him.

Guess Sac Bee fell off the list after making it last month. Must have been a big swing in uniques.

The sad thing is the number of people being lied to by these rags. Thank God their influence is waning.
