Languishing in liberal land
Washinton Times, by Cal Thomas

Despite their control of all three branches of government, this has not been a good summer for liberal Democrats. Their health care "reform" bill, which has yet to be fully written, much less fully funded, has been exposed at town-hall meetings as a power grab over life and death with the strong possibility that "do no harm" will be replaced by a utilitarian approach to treatment.

White House Green Jobs Adviser Apologizes for Calling Republicans 'Assholes' [Van Jones]

"I apologize for the offensive words I chose to use during that speech," Jones said in a written statement to Politico. "They do not reflect the views of this administration, which has made every effort to work in a bipartisan fashion, and they do not reflect the experience I have had since I joined the administration."

It would be better if Obama didn't use our taxpayer's money for advice from a lowlife like Van Jones in the first place, IMO.

RANGEL'S STAFF AS 'FORGETFUL' AS THE [tax cheat] BOSS (NY Post)

Charlie Rangel's "forgetfulness" is apparently contagious.

Two of his top aides are among about a dozen highly paid staffers on the powerful tax-writing Ways and Means Committee who have filed a flurry of amendments correcting their financial-disclosure statements since 2002.

Jim Capel, chief of staff for Rangel's personal office, failed to file any such statements for six years.

On the afternoon of July 14, Capel filed five years' worth of delinquent reports.

(Now imagine if we tried to use the the Bernake/Rangel/Reid defense?

We'd end up serving five to ten. Further, Imagine if a Republican observed tax laws like a Democrat.

Obama Warned That GOP's 'Government Takeover' Attack Won't End If Public Option is Dropped (abc)

As President Obama prepares to talk health care reform on Sept. 9 at a joint session of Congress, he is being warned by several of his own allies not to walk away from a government insurance option.

"Why would the White House step away from something that is going to weaken their side and that isn't going to pick up a single vote on the other side?" asked Richard Kirsch, the national campaign manager of Health Care for America Now, in an interview with ABC News.

Some of Obama's progressive allies are questioning whether the president is preparing to back down from a fight over a public option in the wake of White House adviser David Axelrod suggesting in an interview with ABC News' Ann Compton that "the spirit," but perhaps not the substance, of a public option would survive in the Senate, where a handful of moderate Democrats have refrained from stating their support for the concept.

NHS may need to lose 137,000 staff to meet £20 billion savings target
(Times on line)

The NHS may need to cut its workforce by about 10 per cent — the equivalent of 137,000 staff — to help to meet planned savings of £20 billion, according to a leaked Department of Health report.

A study commissioned from the consultancy firm McKinsey and Company recommends cutting clinical staff posts as well as administrators to meet efficiency savings by 2014, suggesting a knock-on effect to patient care.

Sentenced to death on the NHS
(The Telegraph)

NHS Patients with terminal illnesses are being made to die prematurely under an NHS scheme to help end their lives, leading doctors warn today.

In a letter to The Daily Telegraph, a group of experts who care for the terminally ill claim that some patients are being wrongly judged as close to death.

Under NHS guidance introduced across England to help doctors and medical staff deal with dying patients, they can then have fluid and drugs withdrawn and many are put on continuous sedation until they pass away.

But this approach can also mask the signs that their condition is improving, the experts warn.
As a result the scheme is causing a “national crisis” in patient care, the letter states.

It has been signed palliative care experts including Professor Peter Millard, Emeritus Professor of Geriatrics, University of London, Dr Peter Hargreaves, a consultant in Palliative Medicine at St Luke’s cancer centre in Guildford, and four others.

“Forecasting death is an inexact science,”they say. Patients are being diagnosed as being close to death “without regard to the fact that the diagnosis could be wrong.

Rasmussen: Americans despise Democrat Congress (Examiner)

Rasmussen continues to release some of the most jaw-dropping numbers ever on this utterly hated Democrat Congress.

America is a right-of-center country. You can see this in polling results such as that 70% of Americans want lower taxes and less government. You can also see it with even states like California rejecting Democrat ideas on everything from handouts for for illegal immigrants, to gay marriage, to tax hikes and big government.

As such, this disturbingly un-American, Constitution-trampling leftist agenda being forced down the country's throat is provoking an incensed backlash from Mainstream America...

Most Americans openly reject what Congress is trying to do to health care. 57% would like to see the entire Congress immediately replaced.

Only the Democrat base thinks this country is headed in the right direction. Only 29% (less than the Democrat base) think Congress has a clue on the economy.

68% think Democrats are lying through their teeth about ObamaCare being deficit neutral.

And my personal favorite... 42% say people randomly selected from the phone book would still be better than this Congress.

These are shockingly extreme numbers. This Democrat Congress is absolutely despised by regular Americans.

Without Public Option, Enthusiasm for Health Care Reform, Especially Among Democrats, Collapses
(Rasmussen Reports)

Just 34% of voters nationwide support the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats if the so-called “public option” is removed.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 57% oppose the plan if it doesn't include a government-run health insurance plan to compete with private insurers.

Last week, Rasmussen Reports tracking found that support for the Congressional plan was at 42%.

While the tracking question did not specifically mention the public option, it referred to the bill proposed by the president and congressional Democrats now working its way through Congress.

All of the congressional committees that had passed reform legislation included a government health insurance plan. Therefore, it is reasonable to compare those results with the current polling to measure the potential impact of dropping the public option.

The most dramatic impact is a sharp decline in enthusiastic support. Without the public option, only nine percent (9%) Strongly support the legislation. The earlier poll found 26% Strongly in favor of it.

(Report: AFL-CIO Pushes Tax on All Stock Transactions (Union Thugs at it again) FOX News

After the federal government put up hundreds of billions of dollars to bail out Wall Street, the largest labor union in America wants those firms to return the favor.

The AFL-CIO reportedly is promoting a proposal to tax every single stock transaction, and it's gained some support among Democrats.

According to The Hill, the tiny tax would be about a tenth of a percent -- but it could mean a lot of money for companies, like Goldman Sachs, that are making billions and conducting a high volume of trades.

GET READY FOR 'ALL BARACK'S CHILDREN' (NY Post)

'ABC" stands for All Barack's Children. On Sept. 8, young students across the country will be watch ing TV. Yes, they'll be parked in front of boob tubes and computer screens watching President Obama's address on education.

Instead of reviewing multiplication tables or diagramming sentences, America's kids will be lectured about the importance of learning.

Then the schoolchildren, from pre-K through 12th grade, will be exhorted to Do Something -- other than sit in their seats and receive academic instruction, that is.

Education Secretary Arne Duncan dispatched letters to principals nationwide, boasting, "This is the first time an American president has spoken directly to the nation's schoolchildren about persisting and succeeding in school."

Obama's plan to speak to schoolchildren ignites furor in Dallas area (Dallas Morning News)

A groundswell of parent opposition to President Barack Obama's speech next week to students on the importance of education has forced many North Texas school districts to question whether to air it live in classrooms.

Obama announced the speech weeks ago, but opposition and concerns spread rapidly Wednesday morning through conservative social networking Web sites and radio talk shows.

By midday, local school districts say, they were inundated with hundreds of phone calls from parents urging them to not show Obama's speech at school.
Some parents threatened to keep their children home from school if the video was aired.

White House Withdraws Call for Students to 'Help' Obama (FoxNews)

President Obama's plan to inspire the nation's schoolchildren with a video address next week erupted into controversy Wednesday, forcing the White House to pull out its eraser and rewrite a government recommendation that teachers nationwide assign students a paper on how to "help the president," the Washington Times reported.

Presidential aides acknowledged the White House helped the U.S. Education Department craft the proposal, which immediately was met by fierce criticism from Republicans and conservative organizations who accused Obama of trying to politicize the education system.

White House aides said the language was an honest misunderstanding in what was supposed to be a inspirational, pro-education message to America's youths.

SO WHAT'S McCLACTHY'S POSITION?

Beck is playing with fire (MIAMI HERALD)

Does Glenn Beck really mean to incite the assassination of the president of the United States or is it that he just doesn't care much one way or another?

Hey, it's TV, and ratings matter, you know.

In case you've been lucky enough lately to be passing time in one of our meager groves of sanity, know that Beck is the latest Fox News cable sensation, a right-wing near lunatic of such inspired loopiness that his ratings are challenging even the network's reigning act, Bill O'Reilly.

Could it be that O'Reilly, with his hoary shtick of bullying arrogance and mewling pettiness, is beginning to come across as a bit of an old fogy?

If so, the network has a comer in Beck.

Beck recently endeared himself to the nation's new secessionists by declaring that President Obama is ``a racist'' with a ``deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.''

And while the 1933 Reichstag fire in Berlin may not be haunting you personally, Beck has been fretting about it -- loudly -- on your behalf.

The Reichstag was Germany's parliament and its building was torched maybe by communists, maybe by Nazis -- or maybe by fireflies, for all anyone really knows.

He's Not Jimmy Carter (The American Spectator)

Conservatives are taking too much solace in the precipitous drop in Barack Obama's approval ratings, and too many of us are overconfident that his administration is merely a replay of the hapless presidency of Jimmy Carter that was easily swept out in a landslide election.

Today's situation is far different, far more conducive to our political adversary's political power, than that which faced Carter.

And Obama is an entirely different breed of cat. He's more ruthless, more tactically savvy, and has far more dangerous objectives...

In short, the wonderful conservative success in August should not hide the reality that our backs are still against the wall.

Obama still owns the upper hand. If we make any major mistake, he will use that hand as a fist to smash the conservative movement to bits.

Clear-eyed about this possibility, conservatives must keep fighting. Uphill. Against the wind. And without a Reagan to lead us.

Public approval of Obama's foreign policy plummets (Washington Examiner)

For much of the summer, as approval ratings for President Obama's handling of the economy, health care, the deficit, and other domestic issues declined, the one bright spot in the president's polling was his handling of foreign affairs.

No longer. The new CNN/Opinion Research poll, released Tuesday afternoon, shows a sharp decline in the public's approval of Obama's handling of a number of international issues.

In March, according to CNN, 67 percent of those surveyed approved of Obama's handling of the situation in Afghanistan. Now, that number is 49 percent -- an 18 percentage-point drop.

The number of those who disapprove of Obama's Afghanistan policy has grown from 29 percent to 46 percent.

In March, 61 percent approved of Obama's handling of terrorism. Now, it's 52 percent -- a nine point drop. The number of people who disapprove has gone from 35 percent to 45 percent.

In March, 66 percent approved of Obama's handling of foreign affairs in general. Now, it's 54 percent -- a 12 point drop. The number of people who disapprove has gone from 28 percent to 42 percent.

Karl Rove: Obama and the Perfect Political Storm-Hard to sell change voters don't think they need
(WSJ)

August was the worst month of Barack Obama's presidency. And he seems to know it—he is now planning to deliver a speech to a joint session of Congress 232 days into his administration in a desperate attempt to save his biggest domestic priority, overhauling health care.

He has already had the budget-busting $787 billion stimulus package, a budget that doubles the national debt in five years, an earmark-laden appropriations bill that boosted domestic spending nearly 8%, and a cap-and-trade energy tax that limped through the House with dozens of Democratic defections (and which has stalled in the Senate).

These achievements are unpopular, so they are boomeranging on him.
Mr. Obama's problems are legion. To start with, the president is focusing on health care when the economy and jobs are nearly everyone's top issue.

Voters increasingly believe Mr. Obama took his eye off the ball.
In addition, Mr. Obama is trying to overhaul health care without being able to tap into widespread public unhappiness.

Nearly nine out of 10 Americans say they have coverage—and large majorities of them are happy with it. Of the 46 million uninsured, 9.7 million are not U.S. citizens; 17.6 million have annual incomes of more than $50,000; and 14 million already qualify for Medicaid or other programs.

That leaves less than five million people truly uncovered out of a population of 307 million.

Americans don't believe this problem—serious but correctable—justifies the radical shift Mr. Obama offers.

Trading Jobs For Bugs In Coal Country (IBD)

Mayflies are, by scientific classification, not long for this world. They belong to the order Ephemeroptera which means, roughly, "short lived, winged creatures." In their adult form they live for a day. During that day, the Appalachian mayfly's primary function seems to be: Annoy hikers.

They may soon serve a second, far more annoying function if President Obama's Environmental Protection Agency has its way.

Emboldened by Obama's campaign pledge to "bankrupt" coal, EPA regulators have been aggressive of late. Bug protection may well give them an excuse to wreck coal mining in Appalachia.

Why? Because recent research suggests that discharge into streams of dissolved solids from surface coal mining in the Appalachian Mountains diminishes mayfly populations. That doesn't necessarily mean fewer bugs overall. Interestingly, other research suggests that the total

Obama's Death Panels to Unravel Lightbulb Savings

All of our 75 million senior citizens tossed under the ObamaCare bus have one more reason to storm the town hall meetings.

Once Obama's death panels get to work seniors won't live long enough to enjoyof the energy savings they have been promised to break even from buying higher priced CFLs instead of using energy hog incandescent lightbulbs.

Retailers like Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart will soon have Health and Human Services government mortality tables displayed in their lightbub aisles alongside info on lumens and lightbulb life.

Typically CFLs cost four to six times as much as incandescents but last longer and save enough energy to repay the up front higher price within a couple of years.

Yet for 20 million American military veterans who follow the grim advice found in the Veterans Administration pamphlet, "Your Life, Your Choices", inspired by the Hemlock Society, there's not much point in buying light bulbs at all.

Rangel: 'Prejudice' Toward Obama Halting Health Care Reform (foxnews.com)

First it was Gov. Paterson. Now the dean of New York's congressional delegation has played the race card -- and just as the governor did, he's using President Obama to do it, the New York Post reported.

Rep. Charles Rangel said Tuesday that "bias" and "prejudice" toward Obama are fueling opposition to health-care reform.

Those incendiary comments came on the heels of Paterson's controversial comments about race that also mentioned the nation's first black president.

"Some Americans have not gotten over the fact that Obama is president of the United States. They go to sleep wondering, 'How did this happen?' " Rangel (D-Manhattan) said Tuesday.

Speaking at a health-care forum in Washington Heights, Rangel said that when critics complain that Obama is "trying to interfere" with their lives by pushing for health-care reform, "then you know there's just a misunderstanding, a bias, a prejudice, an emotional feeling."

Roxanne's Nonexistent Revenge
Heard about the rapper who forced her label to pay for her Cornell Ph.D.? It never happened. SLATE.COM

It was the feel-good story of the summer. According to the New York Daily News, Roxanne Shanté, a 1980s female hip-hop pioneer famous for the 1984 underground hit "Roxanne's Revenge," had finally gotten her own revenge on Warner Music, the record label she accused of "cheating with the contracts, stealing and telling lies," to avoid paying her what she was owed.

How? After valiantly fighting, reported Daily News freelancer Walter Dawkins, Shanté had convinced Warner to honor a contractual agreement to "fund her education for life." Warner ended up paying more than $200,000, Dawkins reported, to finance Shanté's education, which Shanté said included an undergraduate degree from Marymount Manhattan College and a Ph.D. in psychology from Cornell.

And now, said the Daily News, "Dr. Roxanne Shanté" has "launched an unconventional therapy practice focusing on urban African-Americans," in which she "incorporates hip-hop music into her sessions, encouraging her clients to unleash their inner MC and shout out exactly what's on their mind."

The story was endlessly blogged and tweeted, heralded as an example of a heroic triumph by a girl from the projects over her evil record label.

Credulous music-industry critics lapped it up; Techdirt, after stating flatly that Warner had "tr[ied] to cheat [Shanté] out of her contract," reflected the online sentiment: "It's nice to see how Warner Music actually did some good in the world, even if it had to be dragged there kicking and screaming."

One problem: Virtually everything about the Daily News' heartwarming "projects-to-Ph.D." story appears to be false.

Health Care That Works

Health care reform may be defeated this year in part because so many Americans believe the government can’t do anything right and fear that a doctor will come to resemble an I.R.S. agent with a scalpel. Yet the part of America’s health care system that consumers like best is the government-run part.

Fifty-six to 60 percent of people in government-run Medicare rate it a 9 or 10 on a 10-point scale. In contrast, only 40 percent of those enrolled in private insurance rank their plans that high.

Multiple surveys back that up. For example, 68 percent of those in Medicare feel that their own interests are the priority, compared with only 48 percent of those enrolled in private insurance.

In truth, despite the deeply ingrained American conviction that government is bumbling when it is not evil, government intervention has been a step up in some areas from the private sector.

Until the mid-19th century, firefighting was left mostly to a mishmash of volunteer crews and private fire insurance companies. In New York City, according to accounts in The New York Times in the 1850s and 1860s, firefighting often descended into chaos, with drunkenness and looting.

So almost every country moved to what today’s health insurance lobbyists might label “socialized firefighting.” In effect, we have a single-payer system of public fire departments.

We have the same for policing. If the security guard business were as powerful as the health insurance industry, then it would be denouncing “government takeovers” and “socialized police work.”

Throughout the industrialized world, there are a handful of these areas where governments fill needs better than free markets: fire protection, police work, education, postal service, libraries, health care. The United States goes along with this international trend in every area but one: health care.

The truth is that government, for all its flaws, manages to do some things right, so that today few people doubt the wisdom of public police or firefighters. And the government has a particularly good record in medical care.

Department of Education Deletes Line About How Schoolkids Can Help Obama NRO

It appears there are two versions of the preparatory materials for the president's address to schoolchildren floating around, one with language urging teachers to have students write letters to themselves about how they can help the president, and a second changing that to letters to themselves about achieving their short- and long-term education goals.

It looks like somebody at the Department of Education woke up, smelled the coffee, and realized they would have a lot of angry parents on their hands if homework assignments included requirements to pledge to help the Obama administration.

In light of this, I expect the president's remarks will be pretty uncontroversial.

But this legitimizes quite a bit of conservatives' skepticism and wariness, because it means some folks in the Department of Education didn't realize what an atrocious and inappropriate idea it was.

Conservative media take a strong stand against ... learning?!?

If there is anybody out there who still doesn't believe that the conservative media will attack President Obama no matter what he does, consider this: Right-wingers are telling children to skip school as a protest against Obama's encouragement of students to stay in school.

I know, I know. You think I'm kidding. Or exaggerating. That I'm caricaturing the conservatives' position in order to make them look ridiculous.

Wrong. They defy caricature. There's nothing you can imagine that is too crazy for these people to say. They'll claim Barack Obama was secretly born in Kenya (his birth announcements in Hawaiian newspapers were just one part of an elaborate, decades-long conspiracy involving Kenyans, the media, Hawaii's Republican governor, and the Stonecutters). They'll say he has a diabolical plan to create government "death panels" to kill off the old and the young. They'll claim he is building a secret private army (consisting of -- I swear I am not making this up -- AmeriCorps and Peace Corps volunteers) that is "just as strong" as the U.S. military so that he can "seize power" and create a "thugocracy."

And when President Obama delivers the least-controversial message you could possibly imagine -- "Stay in school" -- they call it "indoctrination" and an attempt to "get 'em while they're young," warning, "They are capturing your kids" and "your republic is under attack."

That's right: "Your republic is under attack," and Barack Obama is "capturing your kids." By urging them to stay in school and ... learn.

The major objection to this latest school children WH overreach is the follow-up by liberal school teachers. They are the ones to watch like a hawk. The best result of this Obama school speech fiasco is that the liberals are on notice that their underhanded tactics will not be tolerated. Parents simply need to tell their children that their teacher may be a union pawn, not a real educator. Once even small children question the ethics of their teachers, their indoctrination cannot succeed. Once teachers joined the thuggish unions, their professionalism came into question. Just like journalists, they sold their souls to liberalism, and they are now ever diminished in stature.

Ha! Libs don't read - unless it's the numerical totals on their welfare, disability or food stamps stubs.

Fox News is advertising a documentary about the ideology being written into our children’s textbooks. They even call some of it anti-American. It fits right in with the timing of this speech by Obozo. What is being written into school textbooks doesn’t sound good, unless you are a socialist, of course. I think another wakeup call is being delivered.

BREAKING: “Um, we really aren’t Marxist, but we know you think so, so you are all idiots.

And although I am paid $7/hour with no benefits, we are great, and you should all read our articles and come over to our way of thinking that isn’t Marxism.

PS We will give you free KoolAid too

Thank you

Obama administration backs off call for students to 'help' Obama
(Examiner)

After a fierce controversy over what many perceived as an effort to indoctrinate students, the White House says it will rewrite the government recommendation that teachers nationwide assign students a paper on how to "help the president."

According to the Washington Times, Obama aides acknowledged the White House helped the U.S. Education Department craft recommended activities to be assigned to students after they watched Obama's address:

Among the activities the government initially suggested for prekindergarten to sixth-grade students:

that they "write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president."

Another task recommended for students immediately after listening to the speech:

to engage in a discussion about what "the president wants us to do."...

President Obama still plans to "inspire" the nation's schoolchildren with his video address next week.

The Obama White House continues to display its amateurism.

Presidential aides should have seen that the recommended activities would be perceived as unwarranted politicization of Obama's video address to the nation's schoolchildren.

Re: Stealth Indoctrination. It’s not what Obama will say, it’s what the liberal school teachers would do with the follow-up lessons. Union teachers were out in full force before the election. Who would want these teachers who don’t know the meaning of integrity, teaching children? School vouchers is the only thing that will make our education of any worth. Paying public school teachers more, surely did not work,

Obamacare: PBS's Jim Lehrer suggests to Obama: "start cracking heads", CNN trots out communist
PBS and CNN

From PBS.org, July 20, 2009..."Communicating health reform goals"

JIM LEHRER: As you know a lot of the commentary over the weekend was that nothing’s going to happen getting from here to the final hurdle here unless you really start cracking some heads, and really say, “Hey, this is the Obama plan, this is what I want.

So much for what this committee wants and what that committee wants.

Here’s what I want. I’m going to push and go.” Are you ready to do that?

A Truther Czar?... Obama's Green Czar Van Jones Believes Bush Government was Behind 9-11
It figures. (GatewayPundit)

Barack Obama's communist Green Czar Van Jones is a Truther.
He believes the Bush Administration was behind 9-11 and signed the official 9-11 Truth Document demanding a further investigation.

--
You bet your sweet bippy they ‘helped’ write the ‘Love Obama’ crap. The libs just don’t get it; they are not going to go unchallenged. How many lumps on Obozo’s head do they want us to see? It gives real meaning to ‘sappy headed faux’ or something like that, ask Imus.

Thanks Barack... Unemployment Rate Expected to Rise Until Next Summer
Economists are predicting the jobless rate will continue to rise until at least next summer. (AP)

While most economists believe the recession has ended, they predict the jobless rate will keep rising until at least next summer as the country struggles to mount a sustained recovery.

The worry is that household incomes will remain depressed and consumer spending, which accounts for 70 percent of the total economy, will continue to lag.

"The lack of job creation remains a big headwind for cash-starved and credit-constrained consumers and thus a major impediment for the fledging recovery," Sal Guatieri, senior economist at BMO Capital Markets, said in research note.

The Labor Department said Thursday that the number of laid-off workers applying for benefits dipped to 570,000 last week from an upwardly revised 574,000.

But yesterday Joe Biden announced that the Stimulus was doing more than they had hoped.

Glenn Beck: Will Progressive Pigs Fly Out of Van Jones' Butt to Power America?

Glenn Beck wants to know what democrats will do once they bankrupt the coal industry?

What will the progressives do once they ban the source that provides over 40% of America's energy?

Glenn Beck: "Will progressive pigs fly out of Van Jones' butt and pedal bicycles to power America?"

Currently wind and solar provide arund 1-2% of America's energy.

Somehow democrats and the state run media have convinced America that these two expensive sources of energy are going to replace coal and oil. Not likely.

Green jobs 'czar' signed 'Truther' statement in 2004 (washingtontimes.com)

President Obama’s “green jobs czar” Van Jones has been targeted again and again by conservatives for his controversial views and now they’ll have another item to use as fodder.

Mr. Jones signed a statement for 911Truth.org in 2004 demanding an investigation to what the Bush Administration may have done that “deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen perhaps as a pretext for war.”

His name is listed with 99 other prominent signatories (Jones in number 46) supporting such an investigation on the 911Truth.org website, including Code Pink co-founders Medea Benjamin and Jodi Evans, comedienne Janeane Garofalo, Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney of Georgia and others.

He's identified as the executive director for the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights on the statement, which he founded before going to the White House

My God! Isn’t there some Obama quote something like “Look at the people I surround myself with.”

One evidently has to be dumb...Pelosi dumb...Boxer dumb...immeasurably dumb - in order to be selected to be a member of the “Cabinet-O-Loons”.

But the bright side is just maybe he will find out about UFO’s?

Obama starts every news conference with: ‘I’m sorry -I didn’t mean what I just said. Let’s look ahead not back, au, er, au, er, I mean, except for the CIA interrogations. I may have lied about that too, but we are not looking back on my lies. Let’s look ahead to the death panels I promised, wait, I may have lied about that too. TOTUS, what did we say about death panels? TOTUS says, We didn’t write that, the Apollo group did. Oh, I don’t have to lie about that then, right? TOTUS, check the bill to make sure. TOTUS says, WTF, I am not reading 1000 pages, you fool.

I think Media Matters is one of those spidery Soros propaganda sources. He funds a group that funds a group, that funds a group, that funds Media Matters. Sort of like ACORN getting taxpayers’ funds twenty different ways, under twenty different names. Obama could probably trace that through for us. He may have set it up in his earlier community organizing days.

Michelle Malkin has a photo of the Obama coloring page handed out to school children before the election. It says “Students for Obama.” Another teacher that handed out the coloring pages to her class was asked if she also handed out coloring pages of John McCain, she answered that there was nothing historic about John McCain running for president. The propaganda being exposed now is nothing new, it is just the liberal media refused to report anything negative about Obama, and now no one needs them. It is the bloggers and Fox News that is exposing the fraud from the White House. Let’s see, I think the truth has stopped Obama in his socialist tracks. Had the media been truthful from the start, he would not be president, IMHO.

Van Jones (TROOFER) is Gandhi's reincarnation, Obama is Lyman Trumbull's. WTF? (Deccan Chronicle on the Web) MARXISTS HAVE NO SHAME

New Delhi: Did you know that Mahatma Gandhi has been reincarnated as Van Jones, the celebrated American civil rights and environmental activist who was named Time magazine's "environmental hero" in the US in 2008?

"Objective evidence that forms the basis of past life studies prove that Jones is the reincarnation of Gandhi," world's leading past life researcher and best-selling author from the US Walter Semkiw told IANS in an interview.

Jones' facial bone structure and features are the same as that of Gandhi's, Mr Semkiw said.

"His manners and body language are also similar to that of the Indian freedom fighter and he does the same things Gandhi did in Africa during the 1930s - campaign for civil rights.

Like Gandhi, who was named Time magazine man of the year in 1930, Jones figured in Time's list of most influential men in 2008 and in several other magazines," the researcher said.

I think Media Matters is one of those spidery Soros propaganda sources.

Actually Media Matters was one of the few propaganda outlets that received direct financial support from Soros. They attempted to deny it but got caught red handed in the paper trail. Since that happened Soros launders his schemes through fly by night, Tide Foundation funds.

Beck is merely telling the truth. Of course under the left-wing fascism that has infected the U.S. since JFK, that's not allowed. It's called spouting "hate facts." ha ha.

With Obama we have reached the very bottom. He is a deeply stupid, corrupt, affirmative-action parasite who has nothing but contempt for Whites. Obama is a left-wing fascist who has already defined his domestic opponents as potential terrorists. Like Lenin and Stalin before him he elevates criminals and traitors affiliated with the Black Panthers, La Raza and ACORN to positions of respect and authority.

We are in the hands of an angry, overgrown adolescent who believes his every act of corruption and illegal abuse of power is an act of moral superiority. Obama is a traitor and the logical conclusion of the last 50 years of left-wing policies. When he lies, when he fails, when he destroys this country utterly he will blame us. He doesn’t even have the sense to hide his malignant, hostile intentions.

Some schools are opting out of presenting Obama’s speech to the students. They just don’t want the grief. There have been some protest groups forming, which the schools admit they have every right to do. The tea party protests might come to their minds. The silent majority is silent no more.

Spooky how Obama’s 'Change' is, once I did say it, but now I 'Change' it.
He is going to have to amend his cute saying to, ‘Change You Can Believe In, Maybe'.

I have never read a factual article churned out by Media Matters yet.

I have however seen people fired for posting their press releases only to find out they were complete falsifications.
