This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Lefties complain that conservatives sell too many books
Its just that the left aren't sheep. Baaaa
Beck First Author in History to Have Books Debut at #1 On Four Different NYT Bestseller Lists
And recall the NY Times refuses to review any conservitive books.
Ironically, the same analogy can be applied to McClatchy wondering why no one buys their paper. Gee, I can’t understand it either
Sac Bee's news boss Melanie Sill admits blatant bias in editorial today:
"There's no dispute that The Bee has a liberal editorial page on most issues, though not all matters, and has mostly endorsed Democrats.
We won't change our editorial philosophy to placate critics."
Maybe they could just keep reviewing more books from Al Gore, leaving out the Marxist rhetoric for more sales?
Newsweek Notes Al Gore's Favorite New Quote, But Omits It Came From a Marxist (NewsBusters)
Permit a late word or two on Newsweek’s thoroughly in-the-tank cover story for Al Gore. Sharon Begley oozed about Gore’s favorite quote in his book – but never seems to note that Gore’s "philosopher" expert is a Marxist.
It comes near the very end of the piece:
His favorite quote in [his new book] Our Choice is from the philosopher Theodor Adorno (1903–1969):
"The conversion of all questions of truth into questions of power … has attacked the very heart of the distinction between true and false."
Adorno, and his colleagues in what is called the "Frankfurt School," are Marxists. Al Gore and his liberal admirers in the press (see this Seattle Times dispatch) aspire to make it through Adorno's impenetrable prose.
British journalist Alastair McKay brightly reported that in Scotland in 2006, Gore lauded the entire school of Marxists:
Amazing how enriching government can solve global warming.
Most lefties can't read - English is their second language.
Wait until Palin's book comes out. You'll see some conservative book-buying that will set publishing records. People who read also vote, which is bad news for the libs.
I think Palin needs to get back in the kitchen where wives belong.
I guess that's not very PC, but women belong in the home. I'm for traditional values.
9:23: Traditional values? You sound more like a Muslim extremist. The Taliban would love to have you, although they may treat women better than you.
"Its just that the left aren't sheep. Baaaa"
Did someone mention leftist sheep??
I believe the Bible is quite clear that woman are subservient to their husbands.
God said it. I believe it. That settles it.
Leftist sheep? Of course they are sheep. 10.2 percent unemployment, communist czars, trillions of dollars of deficits a decade into the future, dithering in Afghanistan and bashing America before the world. If they were not sheep they would be up in arms over this impostor's "change".
Nope, no sheep here. Just unicorns and butterflies.
Poor lefties will tolerate anything as long as Obama says it.
Just this week we found out the the Obama justice department has demanded the visitor logs of a web site (but not a peep from the lefties who used to worry about civil liberties).
We also found out that the government didn't "connect the dots" on the Fort Hood killer. Still nothing about keeping us safe from the left.
Obama supports Pelosi's bill that criminalizes not buying government health care. Do we really want to send people to prison over health care? Once again...silence from the left.
Sheep. Timid sheep.
I agree with 9:52. Just think if Rush told the right to kill themselves, it'd be the march of the lemmings! Here's hoping.
Lefties are the ultimate sheep - anything Obama says is the gospel. The left has abandoned creative thought for blind obedience.
Typical liberal who hopes that others will commit mass suicide. What kind of distorted, warped hatefulness would wish death on others for their politics?
