Thanks to cutbacks, Kansas City Star is several hours late getting to a major fire **update: maybe not?

I initially linked to an item at Bottom Line Communications which reported the KC Star posted a story on a major apartment fire several hours after TV stations had reported on the incident. John Landsberg emailed this afternoon to say he had new information disputing his initial report. He subsequently pulled the item down.

I hope to have more info for you later...

yeah, cutbacks, that's why. Give me a break.

You want to compare what's in the paper that the tv stations with helicopters didn't get?

oh, they must have cutbacks too.
