Three Charlotte Observer columnists announce their departures via Twitter

Looks like newspaper columnists are announcing their departures via Twitter.

Jeff Elder announced via twitter that he is taking a buyout from the Charlotte Observer, Sarah Aarthun twittered she is leaving the Observer for CNN, and, Rachel Sutherland twittered her last day at the Observer will be November 13.

The actual action of Twitter is Tweeted. But, then again, I can't really expect someone as illiterate as the "author" of this blog to understand words well enough to understand that.

It wasn't a comment on your 3:05 post ... it was a comment on the blog post...hence the use of the word author.
