A McClatchy employee has kindly forwarded to me stories written by Leila Fadel that highlight some of the accomplishments of the American troops in Iraq.
Here are 2 that I will pass along. The first one, from 6-13-07, is my favorite: "Anbar a bright spot in turbulent Iraq." The second, from 6-5-07, is called "US military in Baghdad neighborhood works with local fighters against Al Qaeda." Good stuff.
