McClatchy's Baghdad bureau has been AWOL when it comes to telling readers what US troops have been doing in Iraq. The above photo shows troops from the 82nd Airborne patrolling the streets of the Graya' neighborhood in the Adhamiyah district in Baghdad September 7. (Photo from the 82nd Airborne's web site here.) Troops from the 82nd Airborne have 6 school renovation projects nearly completed.Why won't McClatchy give you this news? I'm guessing McClatchy thinks Blackwater is the really important news.
