McClatchy still reporting "mass slaughter" that never occured

Readers of this blog may remember the bogus story of the mass slaughter of 11 members of a journalist's family in Baghdad last month. McClatchy first ran the story here. After the story was exposed as a hoax by bloggers, McClatchy ran a correction.

But McClatchy is still tabulating the slaughter in the "Round up of daily violence" which you can see here. From McClatchy's Iraq web site, this is the summary of the "mass slaughter":

Gunmen killed 11 members of Diaa Al Kawaz family in Al Shaab neighborhood yesterday (Sunday) morning. Al Kawaz is an Iraqi journalist and is the editor in chief of an electronic news agency. Iraqi police didn’t confirm the incident.
