You can read the endorsement here. This will be a boost for Romney during the primaries, since National Review is well-known to most GOP primary voters. If you believe the polls, Huckabee is ahead in Iowa, and the NRO endorsement probably won't make much difference there. Don't forget, winning Iowa doesn't guarantee a thing. In 1988, Pat Robertson beat George H. W. Bush in Iowa. But Robertson was a weak candidate, and Bush's strengths prevailed over the long run. In the same way, I see Huckabee fading away as voters recognize Romney's superior strength as a candidate. Beyond Iowa, I see this endorsement as helping Romney with primary voters in other states.
