The voters speak

There were two special Congressional elections Monday, one in Ohio and Virginia. Both districts are generally Republican, but Ohio and Virginia are also considered to be trending toward the Democrats.

The pundits were hoping to find evidence Ohio could swing next year's election to Hillary Clinton. Here is MSNBC on Monday:



The voters spoke on Tuesday, electing Republicans in both races.  Neither race was close.

If Democrats can win a special congressional election tomorrow in a GOP district in Ohio, doesn't that tell us that Ohio may not be as in play as the Republicans would like to believe for 2008?
