Earlier today I noted a blogger had been threatened with "referral to McClatchy's legal department" regarding a copyright issue. Shelley Acoca, Reader Exchange Editor from the The Miami Herald, sent Rafael Alequin a letter complaining he published "content reproduced from The Miami Herald and MiamiHerald.com." You can see one of the offending posts here. The other offending post is a Dave Barry column which I couldn't find on Rafael's blog.
It's not just newspapers - other people are suing bloggers.
