Today's Opinion page in the Sacramento Bee carries 4 opinion pieces. The authors: E.J. Dionne, Eugene Robinson, Maureen Dowd, and, Kathryn Jean Lopez. According to Wikipedia, Dionne and Robinson write from a liberal perspective (See here and here.) Maureen Dowd is not as easy to classify as Robinson and Dionne. But her book “Bush World: Enter at Your Own Risk” tells you she is not a conservative. Only Lopez, the writer at National Review Online, is a conservative.
So here's your "balance" at the Sacramento Bee: 75% left-of-center, 25% right-of-center.
(I should point out I'd have no complaint if the Bee had 100% liberal opinion articles if the Bee would admit its liberal bias, instead of pretending to be objective.)
