Coalition of liberal anti-war groups launches ‘Iraq/Recession’ campaign

From the lefty blog Think Progress:

Today, a coalition of progressive groups — including MoveOn, the Center for American Progress Action Fund , US Action, SEIU, VoteVets, and Americans United for Change — announced a new “Iraq/Recession” campaign, a $15 million nationwide effort to end the war and refocus our priorities here at home. The campaign will raise awareness of the domestic costs that have been neglected due to Bush and John McCain’s singular focus on Iraq.
This announcement mentions $15 million for this "Iraq/Recession" campaign, no small amount. But these left-wing groups have already poured millions of dollars into campaigns to defeat Republicans and elect Democrats over the past few election cycles. And they are raising tens of millions more to spend this year to defeat John McCain and ensure the premature withdrawal of US troops from Iraq.
