Hillary's three apologies

Hillary Clinton has been doing a lot of apologizing. On Wednesday she apologized three times. Speaking to a group of Black newspaper publishers, she apologized for her husband injecting race into the South Carolina primary. Then, she apologized for the federal government's slow response to the Katrina disaster. Earlier in the day, she apologized for remarks Geraldine Ferraro made which suggested Barack Obama wouldn't be in his current position if he were white.

Hillary has entered the Grovel Zone. Unnecessary apologizing doesn't make her appear sensitive or caring, it makes her look weak. And it is unnecessary. She would owe an apology if she had done something wrong, but I don't see her saying she did anything wrong. So why the apology? With Ferraro, Hillary needed to just express regret for the comments and ask Ferraro to step down. That had already been done, so why start groveling?
