Barack Obama's pastor says blacks should not sing "God Bless America" but "God damn America."

Howard Dean, you have a problem. The guy mostly likely to get your party's nomination for president has a long-term pastor who openly bashes the USA.

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor for the last 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ, has a long history of anti-US comments, including the assertion that the United States brought on the 9/11 attacks with its own "terrorism." According to this report, Rev. Wright has said blacks should not sing "God Bless America" but "God damn America."

Why would Obama go to a church like for two decades? Roger Simon:
We don't choose our family, but Obama chose this racist demagogue as his pastor for decades. It's not funny.

Obama already has raised eyebrows for self-righteous posturing over his decision not to wear a US flag on his lapel. The Che Guevara flag in one of his campaign offices raises similar questions. Do you foresee a Patriotism Gap in the 2008 election?
