The list of Democratic superdelegates facing criminal charges is up to four

The number of Democratic superdelegates facing criminal charges is climbing.

Governor of Puerto Rico Anibal Acevedo Vila was indicted Thursday on corruption charges. He is pledged to Barack Obama.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was indicted this week on perjury and obstruction of justice charges. He is uncommitted.
.
William J. Jefferson, the congressman found with $90,000 cash in his freezer, was indicted last year on corruption charges. He is uncommitted.

Nancy Worley, vice chairwoman of the Alabama Democratic party and former Alabama secretary of state, indicted last year on charges of using her office to influence political action and soliciting political contributions from her employees. She is also uncommitted.

Eliot Spitzer was a superdelegate pledged to Hillary Clinton but he lost his superdelegate status when he resigned after being indicted for his participation in a prostitution ring. So he doesn't technically count toward the total.

Can you say "culture of corruption"?
