McClatchy facing trouble in the Pacific Northwest?
Bill Richards notes McClatchy has an ownership interest in almost half the newspapers published daily in Washington, including the Seattle Times. McClatchy also owns Idaho’s major daily, the Idaho Statesman, and the largest paper in Alaska, the Anchorage Daily News. But circulation declines at these newspapers might be a sign of more trouble to come. Read the story here.
