Genius Miami Herald columnist Leonard Pitts says newspapers should charge internet users

Syndicated columnist Leonard Pitts, writing in the Miami Herald, offers a solution to the financial crisis of print media:

Maybe -- heretical idea ahead -- it's as simple as requiring online readers to pay for the product, just as our other readers do.
