McClatchy continues crusade against Haditha Marines

At a sane newspaper chain, Leila Fadel would be reassigned to a position where she couldn't embarrass the company or insult readers any further.

But given McClatchy's recent series of articles accusing US troops at Guantanamo and elsewhere of torture and war crimes, you could argue the entire McClatchy chain has gone from reporting the news to persecuting the troops.

Take the Haditha matter. As the cases against the Haditha Marines continue falling apart, Leila Fadel seems ready to redouble her efforts to rub the Marines' nose in it.
.
Fadel's latest anti-troop screed: Haditha victims' kin outraged as Marines go free. True to McClatchy's leftist nature, the article offers nothing that would actually benefit readers, such as an analysis of the evidence against the Marines, or interviews with families of the accused Marines whose lives have been turned upside down for years.
.
I have to believe McClatchy will pay a terrible price at the bottom line if they continue insulting readers with the anti-troop slams. Or maybe I should say McClatchy is already reaping their reward for the non-stop criticism of US troops.
