Sacramento Bee doesn't cover story of New York Times rejecting McCain op-ed piece

There was nothing in Tuesday's Sacramento Bee on the New York Times rejecting an op-ed piece submitted by John McCain, one week after running an op-ed by Barack Obama. That story was broken by Drudge and quickly spread across the blogosphere. In Raleigh, McClatchy's News & Observer covered the story in a small article on page 3.

This is a case of the Obama booster squad deep-sixing McCain's op-ed, then compounding the offense by not informing the public what happened.
