Barack Obama's position that the Sunnis and not US troops get credit for the success of the surge shows a major flaw in Obama's character and outlook.
I can't imagine a US president who is reluctant (or embarrassed?) to give credit to his own country for a remarkable achievement.
But that seems to be the current state among Democrat politicians. Remember, just a few weeks ago Nancy Pelosi said she credited the success of the surge to Iran's goodwill.
