Ink problems at The Bee

The ink smears and bleeding continue to be a problem at The Bee. Here are some photos of today's Bee. The photo below is from page A18. (To get a better visual, click on the photos to enlarge.)

Is this smearing normal at newspapers? Don't know. But when I compared The Bee with the SF Chronicle, there was significantly more smearing on The Bee. I've emailed The Bee to ask them about the smearing; I'll let you know their response.
