The New York Times can't be bothered to name his party affiliation. Neither can the Detroit Free Press or CNN or the Los Angeles Times. Corey Williams and Ed White at AP admit Kilpatrick's mother just won Dem primary congressional race but are silent on Kwame Kilpatrick's party affiliation. (The AP's Corey Williams is a serial offender when it comes to identifying Kilpatrick's party.) The left-wing political blogger Wonkette doesn't identify Kilpatrick's party, either.
